Just back from Italy where the Lirico served as our base in Rome for 4 days. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The air conditioner was effective and quiet. Everything in the rooms was in good working order. The Fridge was a nice touch, but small. Breakfast was typical European solid with excellent croissants and coffees. Some on-line reviews suggested the Termini area might be a bit rougher and sketchier than other areas. My wife and I - along with our friends - saw no issues. With a grocery store and good restaurants nearby and the Termini station only a short walk down the street, I would have to say that this hotel offers solid value.
