The hotel was excellent, we had the top floor with the terrace that smelled like sweet flowers with a gorgeous view of the magnificent city of Rome. In addition to a main seating room we had a little private corner outside with shrubs to wall us off from the other guests, very peaceful at night. The room was very clean and pretty big for a capitol city, well furnished and very convenient after a full day out in the heat of summer in Rome. The staff was also very welcoming, they were extremely helpful and greeted us like royals, taking care of everything after our long car ride there; dotingly Carlos - he was one of the most amazing receptionists we’ve ever met, if not the best. Carlos was extremely patient, and everything we asked he had an answer for. Super charismatic and welcoming, made us feel like we really were royals in Italy. He explained everything very thoroughly, and was extremely helpful with our spontaneous travels as we like to say, as we had nothing planned for Rome except the hotel that we found the night before - we had no tickets anywhere, we were winging it. He managed to find tickets to the Vatican City we were searching for for hours in less than 5 minutes and took care of everything, confirmed everything. Carlos never once got frustrated, he always ended every conversation with a smile. One of the most welcoming experiences we’ve had.
