1042 reviewsWe just stayed here for a week. It was the loveliest experience. Everyone from the concierge to the bellhops were terrific. The location of this hotel is perfect. You can easily walk to all the sights, including the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Spanish Steps (which are right down the street) and Piazza del Popolo (which is two blocks away). Villa Borghese is absolutely lovely and just a short 10 minute walk away, too. The hotel is just off of Via del Corso, which is a main artery of Rome, and offers a great variety of shopping and restaurants. Our room was clean, large, and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was particularly great. Breakfast was delicious with many, many different options each day. It was served on the roof of the hotel with a nearly 360 degree view of the city. The only negative experience we had was with the manager of the breakfast. My young daughter wasn't feeling well one morning and the manager wouldn't let me take her a piece of toast and hard-boiled egg, even though we had breakfast included in our rate. If you're hesitating on choosing this hotel, I really encourage you to just book Hotel Valadier. You'll be glad you did.
