Actually, we stayed already in July 2021 at Hotel Rio sul Mare, for full eight nights; we had booked our Elba holiday on quite short notice. The 60s style furniture is splendid, the staff is very kind and accommodating, and we loved the breakfast buffet with a wide variety of homemade cakes, even eggs, to be enjoyed in the shade of the garden. Chef Felice is one of a kind, and the plum jam that I received at the end of the stay to take home was delicious. If there is anything to point out, maybe the thin walls, but overall it was a fantastic stay.
