125 reviewsMy wife and I recently had the good fortune to spend more than a week in the Light Guest House in the beautiful city of Reggio di Calabria. This was the first time that we stayed in a Bread & Breakfast and it was a wonderful experience. The Light Guest House is modern, sleek and clean. The air conditioning and WiFi worked great; the breakfasts were fresh and delicious; the rooms were tended to every morning. More importantly in my view, the Light Guest House is a welcoming place. The owners, Iryna and Domenico, are genuinely friendly and attentive. The Light Guest House is located in a quiet residential neighborhood but guests are never far from the main attractions of this city, for example, a very short walk will bring you to the beginning of the Lungomare Falcomatà (the most beautiful kilometer in all of Italy) and various beaches; a 5 minute walk will bring you to the National Museum of Magna Graecia and the Riace Bronzes (i bronzi); after a 10 minute walk you will be at the Corso Garibaldi and shopping, various museums and the Duomo. On the same block as the Light Guest House is a gelateria, a café and a beauty salon. We thank Iryna and Domenico for all they did to make our time in Reggio so special.
