We are just back from a 5 night stay and it was the perfect base to explore Portofino, Santa Marguarita, Levanto and the Cinque Terre from. We had a good size room for a family of 3 with air conditioning, which was such a relief given the very hot weather. Beds were comfortable, good mini bar to keep our water chilled and modern bathroom. Breakfast was amazing with lots of fresh fruit, foccacia bread, Italian cakes, cheese, yogurts ,cereal etc. And of course delicious coffee. Hotel is ideally located opposite a public beach (free) and lido (paid). Lovely walking path along the beach with buskers and artists in the evening. Near the port and tourist boat service. Plenty of wonderful restaurants nearby all as good as each other. 5 minutes walk from the train station which we used many times to explore the area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good lift. The hotel was exactly what we wanted and delighted we got in at such late notice. Thanks Hotel Riviera for making our holiday so enjoyable 😎
