We were a family of four travelling to Sicily for the first time and I must admit that this was one of our best holidays so far due to the position of La Mancina, in the heart of Marina di Ragusa, yet quiet and intimate. Although the furniture is not anymore as new as presented in the pictures, the facilities are good, Silvia is a great and very helpful host, and the location is just superb. The beautiful beach is very close, with the finest sand ever and a sea perfect for children to play and swim into. The amazing promenade and the elegant port are very near, as well as the centre of this picturesque village where you can enjoy a typical relaxed Italian atmosphere and have a 'dolce far niente' break The place gets very busy in the week-ends, but this comes with many social activities, such as live music in the square. La Mancina is perfect for families and couples looking for an idyllic retreat in beautiful Sicily!
