24 reviewsDo you want to feel like home? Do you want to travel to the past? Good choice! It looks old and it is REALLY OLD- if you like antiques you would love it. I appreciated little things like embroidered towels and a home-like breakfast (mostly typical sweet food, but also some cold cuts) with freshly made coffe from a moka pot. It all looked like so cute it felt like a fairytale. You are a house guest here, not one of 100 anonymous hotel guests. The bed was comfy, even though the cushions were weirdly flat. Try waking up to a city view from the hill! At night it was even better. A shame there was no chair on the balcony. Couldn't find the AC remote, but we didn't even ask about it as the fresh air was so nice and fragrant with garden scents - don't worry, there are mosquito nets and these cute shutters to block the sun at day. Our room (ROSE) had private bathroom- it was nice, just outside the room door (still a pretty private one), the bathtub was pretty narrow. Not far away from the train station (use underpass, not shown on google maps) - great choice to travel to Firenze in about 20 minutes for not much more than 5 euro both ways (even when you have to climb the hill on your way back). No need to pay a lot more and worry about traffic, ZTL and finding a parking in the city. Con: you can hear the trains. Personally didn't mind it, it still feels like a countysite.
