My wife and I stayed in this fabulous hotel for our honeymoon, it is in the perfect location from which to explore Positano; the views from the hotel offer an amazing vista of Positano and the stunning Amalfi coast. When staying there it felt like we were staying with family in their home not in a hotel. We were fortunate enough to stay in the room with the terrace which was the perfect place to lay in the sun and enjoy the views with a drink. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful offering advice on what to see and visit along with the best ways to travel around the area. Were it not for the owner Manuela we would have not known about the roman ruins under the main church, which are well worth a visit. The night before we travelled Manuela took the time to message us regarding how we were travelling to Positano and at what times. When I advised it would be by train and then bus she sent all the details we would need for the buses and trains as well as pictures of the stops we would need to get off at. Breakfast is served at the family restaurant next door which has a fantastic and varied choice, this restaurant also claims to serve the best pizza in Positano; a claim we could not dispute and believe me we ate enough to put the claim to the test. If we are fortunate to travel to Positano again, then the Hotel Villa Delle Palme would be our first choice of where to stay.
