We had a lovely week staying at Fabricia. The hotel was clean with a calm ambiance and all of the staff were professional, friendly and, those that could, made a great effort to speak English which we were grateful for. We had half-board and really enjoyed the evening meals where we had the same table each evening with our own bottle of wine saved and chilled for us. The food was varied and delicious - thank you!. There was plenty to do within or from the hotel (pool, tennis, walks, mountain bikes, great snorkelling trips with Elba Excursions). The pool was large and immaculately clean with plenty of sunbeds - it never felt busy. The beach was a beautiful and peaceful place to visit in the evening. We were glad we had a car to explore the island a little, I'm not sure how we would have travelled around otherwise. We were lucky to be upgraded to a suite which was very spacious and had a lovely long balcony with a gorgeous sea view toward Porteferro and vineyards. We loved how welcome dogs were, and also liked the hotel cat who was always happy to accept a stroke whilst lounging on the front steps.
