26 reviewsThis hotel and its staff was incredible. We stayed a little over 2 weeks ago. We came in from the train station and tried walking to the hotel. We immediately got lost, so we came back to the train station. A man at the counter called the owner, and the owner came and got us with his personal car! He was so helpful. Then, my husband asked what his favorite restaurant was in the area, to which he said, "Mine. I'll pick you up at 7:45 and take you there." As promised, he picked us up and brought us to his other property, then went into the kitchen to finish cooking the food. We had no idea what we were getting into. We were brought a bottle of wine by his adorable father, then a 4 course meal to follow. The appetizers were out of this world. My husband and I were so full, we contemplated telling them we only wanted one main dish to share... but I'm glad we didn't! They brought out THE BEST lasagna I have ever had, and I don't like lasagna. If you can tell me what cheese you put into that lasagna, I'd love to try and make it at home! Then we had dessert and limoncello... all for 50 euro. We could not believe it was that cheap! Wonderful meal. Then he took us back to the hotel, and showed us how to get to the ruins the next morning. It's definitely walkable to get there. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone!
