B&B Pisa "Belleville"

The host is very nice, room is clean and tidy. The home made breads were amazing. Although the B&B is not in the heart of the city, it only takes a nice mid-range walk from the leaning tower of Pisa.

I'm one night into a two-night stay, but so far could not be more impressed! The B&B is in a quiet residential neighborhood with a great restaurant a block away as well as a supermarket just a little bit farther up the road. The proprietors had made contact with me a few days before my arrival to see what time I would be checking in, and were concerned when I was later than what I'd told them. (My plane from Munich was an hour late.) I walked to the B&B from the airport with the help of Google maps (an easy 3.5 miles and great exercise after the overseas plane ride) and Letizia and Paola were waiting. I got checked in and was offered some very welcome water, then they gave me a quick map orientation, some restaurant and sightseeing recommendations, the all-important wifi password and the keys to the room and bathroom. Both were spotlessly clean and lovely, and the bathroom, while not en suite, is designated solely for use by the occupants of one room. Will update after tomorrow's breakfast! 

This was an excellent location for our few days getaway in Tuscany. It is within walking distance to all the main sights in Pisa and accessible to many restaurants. It is slightly outside the main area so it did not feel too touristy and is set in a nice neighbourhood. The place clean and tidy and everything was as advertised on the website. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating (we came in on a late flight). They were able to give us good advice on how to get around, especially helpful with negotiating Italian train time tables and websites.

We chose Belleville because it seemed to be in a good area of Pisa and it is ideally placed for the town with the Leaning Tower etc just a few minutes walk away.The issue we had was when we stopped on a Friday night, was the noise levels,there were  people shouting and swearing late into the night and someone plonker was playing loud music,there was  usual night-time dogs chorus,with the added extra of ambulance or police sirens going off, which to be fair is what tends to happen in a residential area,so if you book then just bare that in mind.We had room one with an external bathroom,so don't go thinking it's en-suite!!!Our corresponding bathroom was diagonally across from our room which meant a walk through what we think is the breakfast/admin room.The bathroom is lockable so you should be ok.Room 2 also has an external bathroom  but that is next door,so no scampering semi-naked in the middle of the night if you feel the need!!!
So Room 2 could be for you.
We needed to get away for an early flight from Pisa so we did not get the pleasure of breakfast(which is extra).The host is very polite and helpful,as we arrived earlier than the 3:00pm check in.We were able to take our bags up from the car(parking is easy in the large car park next to the house.As it is an apartment there are 3 flights of stairs to get up,so a warning if you have a large amount of luggage,very tiring!
We would certainly consider staying there again and we would recommend the  B&B because the rooms are fairly large and have air con and the all important mozzie nets!!!

Good B&B in the suburbs of Pisa

Lovely place to stay

Excellent location and welcoming and helpful hosts.

Nice host and amazing home made bread

We chose this place because of previous reviews but unfortunately, we were disappointed, maybe it was because we had just come from a superb hotel in Florence, we had requested an en suite, we wouldn't have booked had we known the bathroom was across the hall/dining room, absolutely beautiful bathroom but the shower cubicle was very small. They said it was a 'private bathroom' ensuite obviously does not compute! The room was ok but there was no comfortable chair and someone was smoking in next doors garden directly under our window, even thought the window was closed and shuttered we could still smell smoke-revolting. We opted for the 'sweet-salty breakfast! but it was already served on the plate with oil on it, very sickly, I love oil but not on my breakfast, meat, cheese and boiled egg! would have been much better if it had been served separately for us to choose what we wanted to eat with or without oil. Shop bought cupcake.  The ladies were very nice but I wouldn't recommend this place
