37 reviewsWe booked Masoun dou Caro for one night only, on our journey through France towards Tuscany. This B&B is delightful, high up in the hills with lovely views overlooking the Gressoney Valley. The owner, Alfredo, who doesn’t live at the B&B but very close by, is extremely welcoming and friendly – most especially as we had made a mistake with our booking and turned up on the wrong day…. Our room, with ensuite shower room, was comfortable & quiet and we slept extremely well. The kitchen and living area downstairs was spacious and comfortable and we felt very much “at home”. We ate our evening meal, as recommended by Alfredo, who rang and book us in, at the ‘Arquibus’ trattoria, below in the valley, we were very pleased by the excellent meal- they were very accommodating when it came to providing a vegetarian main course- as well as the value for money! Breakfast at Masoun dou Caro - croissants and very good coffee – was enjoyable. We would definitely return to Masoun dou Caro – a comfortable and welcoming B&B, set in a beautiful landscape. Thank you Alfredo - you are a wonderful host and we look forward to returning one day.
