98 reviewsI SKI EXTENSIVELY IN BOTH AUSTRIA AND ITALY AND VERY RARELY WILL I LEAVE A REVIEW ON THE PROPERTIES I HAVE STAYED IN BUT FOR BAITA SCAIA I WILL MAKE AN EXCEPTION. THIS PROPERTY IS JUST FABULOUS IN THE SENSE THAT IT IS SO CLEAN, THE BREAKFAST IS SUPERB - "REALLY AMAZING", THE HOSTS JUST CAN'T DO ENOUGH FOR THIER GUESTS, UNDERGROUND PARKING IS AVAILABLE AT NO EXTRA COST, THE BEDS ARE SO COMFORTABLE, THERE IS PLENTY WARDROBE SPACE AND PLENTY OF HANGERS IN THE ROOMS, THE VIEWS FROM THE ROOM BALCONIES ARE FABULOUS AND THERE IS ALWAYS HOT WATER WHENEVER IT IS NEEDED. THE HOSTS WILL MAKE DINNER RESERVATIONS AT NEARBY HOTELS OR RESTAURANTS FOR YOU AND WILL ALSO MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS IF ASKED. BAITA SCAIA IS SET IN A QUIET LOCATION AT THE TOP OF A STEEP HILL AND IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A BOOM BOOM PARTY PLACE THEN THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. HOWEVER, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR PEACE AND TRANQUILITY AFTER A GOOD DAYS SKI-ING OR WALKING THEN BAITA SCAIA IS MOST DEFINITELY WORTH CONSIDERING AS A HOLIDAY RETREAT. ALTHOUGH PEJO (THE NEAREST SKI AREA) IS SMALL IN SIZE IT MORE THAT MAKES UP FOR THAT IN AMBIENCE WITH THE 3000 PISTE AND THE RIFUGIO DOSS DI GEMBRI FOR A WELL EARNED LUNCH STOP. BAITA SCAIA IS ALSO WELL SITUATED WITH EASY ACCESS TO PASSO TONALE/PONTE DI LEGNO, TEMU AND NEARER BY TO MARILLEVA 1400, MADONNA DI CAMPIGLIO AND PINZOLO.
