Agriturismo Tenuta Serravalle

We came here 1year ago and had a fabulous meal......we didn't manage to get back here in June.....but are so pleased we did last night.......we had a multicourse meal for €30 per head including wine and water........great value......now this wasn't fine dining but it was fabulous......in a lovely Tenuta.....my wife and I and 3large dogs spent a lovely evening over a super 5 course meal.....we started with a most wonderful foccata and antipasto of a very flavoursome salami and prosciutto crudo...then a beautiful spinach and cheese baked thing..mmmmmmmmmm........the most delicious ravioli with a meat stuffing in oil and sage .......a roasted smoked cheese with pink peppercorns.......wild boar and rabbit with potatoes al forno.....and thank god finally the lightest of panna cotta with a caramel sauce washed down with coffee......the wine was a very acceptable Sangiovese....we managed a good litre......?.....and a couple of litres of aqua frizante.......IM GOING TO REPEAT........ALL FOR €30........Would I go back tomorrow? You bet.......this is not the easiest place to find.......drive through montolopio and keep going ...hold your nerve on the dirt track till you can go no further........wonderful.wonderful...wonderful... Did I say it was all this for only €30 per head.......
