The care that the employees of the Moderna take in order to welcome and assist their clientele was unsurpassed in our eight visits to Italy over the past half century. Our room, though not large,was equipped with every modern convenience, the lighting,the bed, the storage closet and the spacious bathroom were designed for maximum comfort. The dinners served in the well appointed dining room were excellent; the breakfasts deserve a five star rating. Our six day stay in the Hotel Moderna was totally rewarding. The decor of the otherwise smart lobby and elevator landings would be mightily improved by removing horrid unattractive sculptures and dreadful artificial flower/botanical decorations.
