Sentido Michelizia Tropea Resort

We stayed here in August for two weeks and right from the check in, the staff were exceptional. Special mention to Rosalba, Antonio,Patricia and Maria who were all very kind to us and very friendly. All great fun with them too. We had a lovely room with a sea view and balcony on the third floor. The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of food on offer including a cooked eggs station. The lady there was lovely . Again the restaurant staff were all very cheerful and helpful. The hotel location was a ten minute walk to the town centre which was not a problem even with a wheelchair. The hotel have a beach area where they can shuttle you to and provide beds and umbrella which was quite expensive to hire. The beach was stoney and very difficult to walk on without beach shoes. The front row was 75 euros, the second row 55 and the third row 45 euros. The two pools at the hotel were great, lots of beds and umbrellas and a small cafe/bar for food and drinks. The room was cleaned very well every day and the cleaners were friendly and took pride in their work. The town of Tropea itself was very busy and full of life with plenty excellent restaurants to try out in the pretty lanes. The old town is amazing with lovely sights around every corner. All in all a great holiday and I would not hesitate in recommending the hotel. Once again many many thanks to the staff mentioned and the others not.
