Li Damiani will for sure become one of my favorite locations in Italy: as soon as we entered the courtyard of this place we understood we made a perfect choice when we decided to stay there when in Otranto. It is slightly outside the city but very close to it: less than 5 minutes by car. The beautiful beaches of the Baia di Turchi are situated more or less at the same distance but in the opposite direction. Its position grants to the Li Damiani a wonder of the countryside calm, fresh air, trees, flowers and the taste of genuine local products: the B&B makes part of an agricultural complex that cultivates its on fruit and vegetables and produces its own oil, jam and other products. Yammy! La Signora Costanza and other hosts (I cannot even call them staff because they felt more like an acquired family members) made us feel really at home. Big thanks to all of you including Mr. Italo, a fellow guest who acted like an owner at times. Among other advantages of the Li Damiani the following ones are worth a notice: cleanness, air conditioning, free parking in the shadow, and the red-white kitten Speedy that made its wonderful appearances from time to time.
