B&B La Collina Dorata

Our stay at La Collina Dorata was lovely: it's a very special place in the countryside, with wonderful views and welcoming hosts. Our room was perfect, and we had everything we needed. The breakfasts, with so many choices of delicious homemade food, were the best we had on our trip round Italy. There were several places to choose from for dinner in Offagna, which we found was within easy walking distance of La Collina Dorata. We visited the nearby town of Osimo. Like in a lot of places in Italy on a Monday, most things were closed, but we enjoyed sitting drinking coffee in the park, admiring the views of the countryside below. The cathedral was open and well worth a visit. Our days at La Collina Dorata were relaxing and peaceful - there is a lot of birdlife and in the evenings of our June visit we had the joy of seeing fireflies!
