Villa Smeralda Bed Breakfast

Carine and ‘Domenico’ have found a corner of paradise that they want to share with us! We are so lucky. I just needed a place to rest my head the night before heading home and stumbled across this unforgettable place perched on the hillside overlooking perfect green countryside and sparkling sea towards the spectacular island of Tavolara. Truly breathtaking. The building itself, with just 3 rooms, is stunning with lots of intimate shady or sunny nooks and crannies to hide away in. The attention to detail inside and outside is worth the visit alone! Stonework, terraces, planting, furniture, art, fixtures and fittings....everything is perfect. Some serious thought, very good taste(and money!) has gone into making this place what it is. In easy reach of some beautiful beaches and just 15 minutes from the airport, this must be the best placed b&b in the area. I also had a beautifully prepared and very generous breakfast and was treated to a wonderful dessert when I returned from dinner the night before! But most importantly, I so enjoyed the company of Carine and Domenico. They are truly passionate about this place, their guests and this incredible Island. Thank you so much. I will return.
