Agriturismo La Capreria

La Capreria is a home or farmhouse located amidst fields, but only about 2 miles from the A4 superhighway that runs between Venice and Milan. The agriturismo is about equidistant from Padua and Verona, both of which are charming cities. An excellent bike ride along the Brenta canal is 25 minutes away. Venice is 40 minutes by car, with a switch to the train (10 min) along the causeway. The room is a second floor accomodation in the home/farmhouse. The room has hardwood flooring and exposed wood ceilin joists. The room is appointed with furniture, including a sofa, armoir, table with chairs, and additional appointments. The bed is a queen, I believe, and relatively comfortable. The bathroom is recently renovated with porcelain fittings. Breakfast is continental, however one is permitted the luxury of sampling cheeses made onsite (including fresh cheeses, pecorino, blue cheese, and various goat cheeses). The silence at night is rather pleasant. Just a note, without GPS or a map, you may have trouble locating the farm/agriturismo.
