I can’t recommend Milk b&b highly enough. The room was cute and clean and the bed super comfortable. Breakfast is an ever changing cornucopia of cakes, along with rolls with meats and cheese if you like. Annalisa is an incredibly gracious host—very patient and encouraging with my attempts at Italian. She will tell you her English isn’t that great but don’t believe it—she speaks very well! She was very helpful translating things for me as well as suggesting good places to visit in the area. The B&B is perfectly situated just outside the Centro Storico—about a 5 minute walk—so you can park nearby and yet still be close to all of the sights and shops in the charming old city. Monopoli is a real working town and less crowded than Polignano a Mare or Bari. There are many unique and beautiful beaches nearby. Fantastic experience.
