Grand Hotel Misurina

This was our first time in Dolomiti and we were very pleased with the Hotel and the surrounding area. The location is perfect near the lake, you get free parking inside the hotel area (or in a garage for an extra fee). You can rent bikes to go around and a boat for the lake at a local friendly vendor, next to the hotel (prices are pretty low). The room was very spacious, the air at 1800m altitude was perfect to enjoy a good sleep. The bathroom exceeded our expectations, my wife particularly likes to clean it before we use it, and she even mentioned that it was thoroughly cleaned (she knows where to check this :) ). For us having a clean bathroom, mold-free room and a comfortable bed are the most important things in a hotel room. Also the check-in was smooth and the staff was friendly. We also used the swimming pool - nothing to complain, everything was clean and warm. We will definitely return in this hotel in the near future. You can see that they are making a tremendous effort to keep this place in a perfect shape, while keeping the old charm. PS. The only suggestions we have is regarding the breakfast: switch to a better coffee or a better coffee machine, and avoid soy milk (oat or almond milk is more suitable for delicious coffee or cereals).
