Town House 31

I booked this hotel as I found a good deal for a 4 night stay. Then I started to read the reviews and I gave myself a few sleepless nights worrying that I hadn't chosen very wisely. However, I am pleased to say that I had made a good choice and was very happy with this hotel. It's situated in a quiet area (but with a metro stop being built a couple of streets away, I expect that the area will become much busier in the coming years) and is very walkable into the Piazza Del Duomo (15-20 minutes). Our suite on the first floor was very spacious and clean. Plenty of storage space and room to spread out. The bathroom was also spacious. My son had a very comfortable fold down sofa bed to sleep on. Breakfast is a basic continental breakfast but no complaints. I ate well every day and had a nice coffee with breakfast every day. My only negative comments would be that the bath/shower is not of a 4-start standard. The shower head is attached to the tap and although it was fine for me (at 5' 4") anyone much taller would struggle as the hose isn't that long. It could also have been doing with some tidying up. Messily put together and some mould. I reckon this would be a simple job to upgrade - the rest of the bathroom was fine. Having said that, I had a nice hot bath/shower every day. The mini bar fridge wasn't cold (but we weren't using it anyway) and it wasn't clear how the air con worked (but we didn't need it as it was still fresh enough outside that opening the window cooled us down). I would stay at this hotel again without hesitation. It was so peaceful and quiet within the hotel and the surrounding area. Clean, tidy and welcoming. Thank you.
