Villa Boschetto B&B - Apartments

This charming villa's location 3 min. from a beautiful, quiet sandy beach was the initial attraction to the property. We intended to stay one night and extended to three. Had the weather not changed, we definitely would have stayed longer. Gabriele and Laura were the perfects hosts! Gabriele even drove us to a fabulous restaurant (Fico d'Indie) that he recommended AND picked us up. Guiseppe, his pets, and his talented wife, who prepares extraordinary dishes are part of the allure with this family operated villa. The rooms were equipped with everything you could imagine needing while being very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were the very best we had on our three week vacation, even better than the Amalfi coast!!! One morning, Gabriele got up at 5 am and drove to a local cheese maker so that his guests could experience the taste of this wonderful local delicacy! From the homemade foccacia to the pastries and choice of fruits, cereals, cheeses, and savoury dishes, the breakfast was truly heavenly. I was stuffed each day and very disappointed to have to leave any food untasted as it was all so delicious! Remember to ask Gabriele to arrange for an archaeological tour in Manduria with the very knowledgeable Monica Marasco. It was incredible! It would be a pleasure to return to Villa Boschetto in the future. Highly recommend!
