29 reviewsWe were looking for a place from where we could explore the Marche region and visit the lovely beaches of Riviera Conero. We also wanted access to a pool for our two kids to cool of in the Italian summer heat. We found this lovely place by accident and liked it so much that we prolonged our stay from five to seven nights. This place is so much nicer than the average B&B. The owner is english speaking and real friendly and helpful. First of all it is beautifully located in the countryside on walking distance from the small village Ostra Vetere. We suggest you to visit the piazza for gelato or pizza in the evening. It is a gathering point for the inhabitants of the village. The view of the Marche landscape from the pool area is stunning. It can no be much better. Everything like the garden, the pool area etc. is well taken care of. There are som animals like goats and hence, which the kids enjoyed watching. Lunch can be arranged on request. It was made of local ingredients and tasted excellent. There is also a bar by the pool where you can buy snacks and drinks. We hade a nice room that housed a double bed and a bunk bed. It was very well cleaned everyday and sheets/towels were changed during our stay. All in all Gaia B&B is very good value for money and we highly recommend it.
