We had a great stay! The hosts, Megan and Lino, are very friendly, kind and helpful. Both fluent in English and Italian, which is always a plus. Nice crystal clear pool. Splendid views over the countryside! No noise from roads, trains or other cottages, so a perfect quiet place to relax. Fair prices. Highly recommended!

Villa Rosa is in a perfect location to visit so many nearby places, then relax and enjoy the beautiful peaceful Umbrian countryside. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in the Il Gelsomino flat that is on the ground floor of the farm house. This flat has the best equipped ‘MasterChief’ kitchen to cook delicious meals with fresh produce from the garden. 
The pool is crystal clear with an amazing view of the countryside with Perugia & Solomeo in the distance. 
Lino, Megan, Isabella and Gemma are absolutely brilliant hosts. 
We would have loved to stay longer and look forward to returning. 

We stayed for to weeks in this delightful location. The villa is placed high on a hill looking over the plains to the hill towns. Surrounded by old olive plantations it is quiet, peaceful and beautiful. We were accomodate in Il Gelsomino which is a one-bedroom, four bed apartment. Everything needed was supplied, and the decoration was good. This is an apartment, so food and drink were obtained from the local supermarket five mijonuts away in the little hamlet. The staff there were lovely, and prices reasonable. We visited the local towns and the hilt towns nearby, ate out during the day and foraged for food. Megan and Lino are great hosts, couldn’t do enough to help and advise us. They really made us welcome.

We stayed in Villa Rosa in Le Rose apartment for 3 nights. It was a great place to stay with easy access to Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto and Lake Trasimeno. Easy access from the highway but no traffic noise at the Villa. 
The apartment we stayed in was suitable for a couple plus and extra in the same bedroom. There are 4 different types of accommodation which can take larger groups and would suit families.
Megan and Lino are very welcoming hosts and Isabella is a delight. Megan and Lino have many suggestions on things to see in the area and have a good supply of maps available. 
Communication was easy as the hosts (and Isabella) speak both English and Italian.
Villa Rosa is well situated as a base from which to explore the region but equally would be a great place to go and relax with a book beside the pool. There are lots of books provided.

We stayed at Villa Rosa for a week at the end of April. We had just left the busy, yet amazing city of Rome, so it was a welcome retreat to arrive here. The views are spectacular and it was a great base for day trips - Lake Tresimino is only 20 minutes away by car and the Frassassi Caves about an hour. 
Megan and Lino were lovely and really made us feel welcome. Our son loved playing with their daughter and there was plenty of space for him to play outside - we all loved the nature surrounding us. The cottage was spacious and clean, with a fireplace which we used as the evenings were still a bit chilly. It was quiet, private and very easy to relax there. We definitley want to visit again!

Stayed at Casetta Rosa at Villa Rosa
For 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The property is clean, space ideal for enjoying local produce, salami & wine. Has kitchen w all you need plus outdoor areas that are comfortable and terrific views.

Owners are hospitable and very helpful. We were greated warmly by them and had fresh seasonal fruits at arrival. Enjoyed a homemade pizza night w the whole family and our daughter loved playing w Isabella.

A very positive experience. Close to Perugia and lots to see or perfect to relax
And read or listen to the birds.

Stayed here on a family holiday for almost 2 weeks. Very well supplied with everything you need in kitchen, extra bed duvets and beach towels. Lino and Megan are wonderful hosts, full of local knowledge, directions, suggestions, the little pieces of local know how that really helps. Lovely fresh eggs from their hens for our whole stay, was really appreciated. 

Isabella is a very willing play mate and a nice well mannered little girl whose company my two children really enjoyed. 

Lino is a wonderful host trying hard to fix a very stubborn dishwasher and TV for us. It really didn't bother us much but may do for other guests. 

A great location close to all you want to see in Umbria, and well the pool just outside is superb, and the view of course If returning to Umbria we would have no hesitation in staying here again.
