1 reviewBeen going here on and off for about 15 years. Signore Zeni, the proprietor is a gem of a gentleman. The apartments and trhe grounds are immaculate, the facilities and views out over Lago di Garda fabulous. It's a little out of town but the mile-long promenade walk along the cobbled lakeside walkway is lovely and therapeutic and the Bay of Love, the crescent shaped inlet, is romantic as anything. For older kids, young twenties, Oasi bar on the way into town - a funky bar with reasonably priced cocktails and similarly priced birra spina - comes highly recommended. And they have a good DJ playing cool tunes on a Sunday night. Further in, La Kambusa ristorante,just off the square of the harbour/port comes thorougly recommended.The mad-as-hatters crazy twin brothers who own it - think Dastardly and Muttley on drugs - literally drag people off the street with their good natured cajoling. Expect complimentary grappa, aperitivi, and limoncella, great pizza, low-priced carafes of wine and big beers. Great for families and couples of all ages. Further in, treat yourself on your last night to a great steak, pasta or fish dish in Taverna dei Capitaine. Explore the castle, catcjh the live music, take a trip to Limone and get a motor boat out. Molto bene.
