Every year we spend a few days at Lake Garda and in the past, it was always hard to find a nice, quiet hotel witch is a good value for money. But now we found just the perfect place for us: HOTEL VILLA MARIA! We can really recommend this small family-owned place, the rooms are clean and - even though the hotel is located directly at the main road of Lazise, it was totally quiet!!! We slept very good, as our room faced towards the lake-side. Breakfast is typically italian, they offer really good Hausbrandt coffee (black coffee all you can drink, for other coffee drinks like cappuccino the first one is free), some cheese and sausages, cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruits as well as cake and croissants. You can sit inside or outside on the terrace. There is no swimming pool, but we could use the pool area of a camping site, which is only a 5 minute walk away, for free. We also could park our car there (also for free), as the parking space of Villa Maria Hotel was already full due to high season. The service is extraordinarily friendly, the owners speak german and english and are very nice and helpful. We will definitely return again next year!!!
