212 reviewsLike others who have posted reviews, this was our hotel for 5 days of our Tuscan adventure through Great Value Vacations and it truly was a home away from home. We didn't take advantage of too many amenities at the hotel because we were on the road the majority of the time, but we did have drinks and dinner at the hotel's restaurant, Tatu. The hotel staff was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. We'd like to specifically thank two of the staff members--Daniel and Marco, for being so helpful and attentive. Daniel served us from the bar area when we returned from one of our day excursions when the bar was closed. Marco adjusted our restaurant bill when we had a question about a charge. The rest of the front desk and restaurant staff were equally as helpful and cheerful. They printed out maps for us, gave us directions and recommendations, and just made sure we were comfortable. The room was a standard size, but quiet and cozy. The hotel is in an industrial section of the town, but only about 5 minutes from shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was included and was great! Every morning there were 3 different juices to select from, an assortment of pastries, bread & jam, scrambled eggs, bacon, meat and cheese. There was an espresso machine as well, and you could easily make a cappuccino, latte or American coffee to your personal taste.
