The rooms were well appointed with amazing views from the hilltop looking out over the bay. The only drawback was the lack of elevators so one has to carry luggage up and down stairs. The hotel is some distance from the center of La Spezia but one can reserve a shuttle to town with Alfred for 9 euros each.
