15 reviewsWe are a family of 4 who stayed in an apartment in S'Abba e Sa Pedra near Golfo Aranchi in June for 2 weeks. The location is perfect. Right on the rocky banks of the truly breathtaking turquoise sea (I have never seen such colours in Europe before.... it reminded us of the Caribbean). The pools were huge, very clean and right on the sea which was amazing.The apartment was well equipped and very spacious. It was disappointing that the wifi was only available by the pool and not in the property but nothing major. We had a few problems with the electricity tripping but that was sorted eventually. The nearby hotel Baia Caddinas was easy walking distance and had a lovely white beach as well as a friendly beach bar and amazing lunchtime restaurant. There is also a great Pizzeria restaurant 5 minutes away on foot. The sea is fabulous for children; very clear and still and shallow. Great rockpools! The other local beaches were beautiful, Spiaggia Bianca and others had white sands, clear turquoise sea and amazing beach restaurants. Recommend a trip to Palau to spend a day on a yacht exploring the local islands. Sardinia is truly beautiful and quite a hidden European gem.
