My fourth stay at this place says it all. This time a three day stay with wife, son, his wife and daughter and my daughter. Took three rooms. Clean and adequate. While there are few amenities and no services it as good a place and as accommodating a hostess you can find anywhere. Breakfast is do-it-yourself with Marianne supplying coffee, juices, pastries. One drawback is lack of WiFi although there is WiFi at a bar less than 100 meters down the road. Local cheese maker within walking distance. Frosolone is an Interesting quaint town with several restaurants serving local foods.It is an easy drive to the wind farms and pastures above the town at 3000 feet for hiking and enjoying the vistas. Encountered a friendly horse herd along the road and had to stop to allow the cows to cross. Frosolone is a good jump off point to visit the ruins at Saepinum, the hill top town of Pietrabbondante (including ruins of a town Hannibal sacked in 200BC), Fossalto for the best gelato in Molise, and other interesting hill top towns.
