Made to feel welcome upon arrival! Owners are so welcoming and warm. We just used the stairs as the lift is tiny! There is a water dispenser in the communal area and coffee/tea facilities. We stayed in the hotel. Next door to the hotel is a Michelin recommended restaurant(not starred) but the food is delicious especially the fillet steak! The risotto as a starter is gorgeous! The desert platter to share is lush! Not cheap but a holiday treat! The location is fab and the breakfast is wonderful. A refectory table beautifully set out and you are served a platter of fruit /breads etc/then egg and bacon or an omelette with fresh juice. One tip ....wait to be served! as some people were taking other people's as they did not realise you are served individually!!! Caused embarrassment on some occasions lol!!!! Pinching other people's grub then realising!! Fab hotel though and lovely staff! Got a hug off the owner when we left...says it all!!!!! Recommend highly. Was hard to find though as next to the Gucci Museum and next to the restaurant and it has big double wooden doors with an intercom that you have to press! The doors need a good shove once the doors are released by the staff on the first floor. Luckily our taxi dropped us off otherwise it would have been hard to find!
