852 reviewsMy boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights in the red room. Riccardo and Lavinia were wonderfully warm and thoughtful hosts. Communication prior to booking and before arrival was top notch. Riccardo helped us set up a tour of Tuscany before we arrived and arranged for cab service for us to get to the airport and to get to the train station. He even conspired with my boyfriend to surprise me with roses and his favorite bottle of wine in our room upon our arrival! The room was huge and we loved the windows overlooking the street. We slept great and didn't have any issues with noise from the other guests or the street below. The B&B is conveniently located and walking distance to all the major sights and experiences of Florence. Best of all, there is a gluten free pastry shop nearby and Riccardo and Lavinia surprised us with new gluten free treats each morning for breakfast. We had gluten free croissants, bread, toast, and a variety of pastries. Everything was delicious! They also gave us a map with recommended gluten free restaurants in the area. The service Riccardo and Lavinia provided was exceptional. We truly felt like we were at "home" every time we returned to our room to rest and relax. We also enjoyed the free espresso in the kitchen. You will love your stay here!
