We was very pleased at this Place. The traveliling to the City or Restaurant´s its not so far and the City-Town is Beautyfull. We sure come back to this wonderfull place. We was for an Business-Trip there but we also had from this an big RELAX:

We were there one week last year in summer. Weather was beautifull, so every day we used the pool coolness. It was clean and quiet, with the places to grill and chillig.  Only one minus - it will be nice for children, if they could play in small playground.  

My family stayed at Torre Del Fondo in September.  The accommodations were nice and clean and the setting in the countryside was very beautiful.  However, the approach at Torre Del Fondo is different from other agriturismo establishments I have read about.  At Del Fondo, the owner is very hands off.  There is an elaborate self-checkin system.  Everything is handled via email.  There is an onsite manager but she is only supposed to be available in the afternoons on certain days.  There are no touches such as advice on obtaining or trying local produce and products.  That said, we enjoyed our stay and the people we met.  The kitchen was fully functional (sans, a can opener), the beds comfortable, the bathroom was very nice, and a washing machine was available.  A PC with internet access was available for free.  Overall, a good value.

There are a number of lessons I learned that might be useful to others: do not arrive on Saturday night and expect to eat or feed your young children on Sunday unless you bring everything you need with you.  We arrived later than expected on Saturday and found that everything was closed on Sunday.  A real problem with two young children.  Eventually I did find a bar that was open and they sold me a bottle of milk and some bread.

Arrive during daylight hours.  Our GPS (TomTom) took us to the wrong location and all the Torre Del Fondo owner would say on the phone was to drive into the village and ask for directions.  As non-locals who don't speak Italian, we had no idea where the village was and there are no streetlights to help see any signs.

Venice and the Adriatic beaches are 1 to 2 hours away.  We went to Venice one day and the beaches every other day.  The Coop store in Ferrara was very nice and well stocked.

I choose this Agritourismo for its countryside location, of course, but also its proximity to major roads and the Ferrara train station, all of which made it a good central location to venture forth to different destinations each day yet have a comfortable "home" to return to in the evening. This worked perfectly for me. The staff on property was attentive and knowledgeable, even interesting, but not intrusive. The renovated structures were well done retaining authenticity while creating comfort. The bedroom was lovely. The kitchen was spartan but workable. I loved the views and the quiet.
