Residence Orchidea

It is cheapest place with swimming pool I found in Liguria with reasonable walking distance to the beach, centre and railway station. And probably one of best places there. Residence is really peaceful, with nice garden, huge trees, flowers, wonderful clean swimming pool, tennis court... You hear only birds there! And still, you are 5 min. walk from the beach, and 10-15 min. walk to the centre with all kinds of shops and restaurants. I travelled alone with a child, so it was important for me to be on walking distance from supermarket and other facilities. 3 min. from residence is small shop as well - so, if you need a bread, mineral water or something simple, you don't need to walk to the centre. It was also important for me to be not on the hill, what is common in Liguria - walking back from the beach, with tired child and all heavy food from supermarket, up the hill, may be nightmare. Here is not any hill on the way from/ to the beach or centre. So, the position is great is you are without the car. If you travel by car - it is a comfortable parking on the front of residence too. The residence itself is not big - but well planned. 2 buidings, about 30 apartments I think. Our apartment was big, clean, well equipped for cooking, with nice terrace... And if I only needed something, Eduardo was always ready to help, to advice, to give me what wasn't in apartment... Downstairs the laundry self-service, very comfortable, you may use it on every time of the day, paying 3 euro for 1 use... Also quick internet in reception area, and in some apartments. We had fantastic holidays! Diano Marina is nice small town, and Orchidea is real hidden jewel... especially for these wanting peace, relax, and reasonable price.
