This is an really nice "bijou" hotel with great service and great hosts who really care. This is not a 5 star hotel but it doesn't pretend to be. It is very modern and well appointed with lots of well thought out touches. The beach area is very small, the rooms a little small and the parking is some distance away but subject to those restrictions the owners have done everything possible to make for an excellent beachfront environment and a first rate stay. We moved from the very tired hotel next door (Gabriella) to La Baia, which was a very significant step up but at half the price. If you are going to stay in Diano Marina and want a small friendly hotel then I cannot recommend this hotel enough.
