We had such amazing day with Mario on a personalized tour in the village of Borgo Val Di Taro. We visited a pastry shop, a butcher shop and anther small shop with prepared foods. Our tasting menu and explanations were amazing. Then Mario took us to his restaurant and prepared some amazing food, smoked trout with a dill cream sauce also good with a number of other amazing starters. He then made a porcini mushroom risotto that made your mouth dance. He served all of that with some lovely Lambrusco. We finished with his homemade gelato and toppings. Next we went went mushroom hunting, so so fun as we discovered some fun mushrooms. After that we toured a parmigiano Reggiano factory with a tasting. What an amazing treasure the trip was along with Mario. Grazie 💕
