Signore Antonio and his staff; Sabina and Lucia were absolutely wonderful. The room and bathroom was meticulously clean and the breakfast ample. It is in a great location and only a 10-15 minute walk to the lovely port of Ognina where there are shops, bars and the best Pastiserrie in the whole of Catania!. The pool does not open until June, so best to check beforehand if it is open. There is a number 448 bus that goes from outside the Ospedale Cannirizzo to the centre of Catania. One of the bus stops is outside Savia where they have the most fab aranchini and opposite the Central Post Office where you can buy stamps. I would not hesistate to recommend this as a short stay.
