I went with my family for a bit of half term skiing in Feb and couldn't have been happier here. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed. Our grasp of Italian isn't anything to boast about and not many people speak English. That would definitely have been a problem had it not been for the owners daughter, guilia helping us with all our questions and other things like translating the menu and so on. She couldn't have been more helpful. The food and wine were of a very high standard but the cost of our full board stay was very reasonable. When on the mountains, they have a deal with a few restaurants wherenyoumcan have lunch there as part of your f/b package, which is very convenient. Free shuttle bus to and from mountains. This hotel is very family friendly laying on entertainment for the kids at night which they all seem to love. There is also a spa downstairs which provides some great treatments including own of the best sport massages I've ever had. The staff here are exceptional. It was also very clean. The cleaners were doing the rounds when we were at breakfast. If you're looking for a decent hotel in Roccaraso, look no further.
