We have just spent two nights at Antica Fornace, and loved our time there. This family-run B&B is at the edge of a town, however it is very peaceful and in a beautiful setting. Owner Marco is friendly and helpful, and the whole experience was full of little touches which feel like the best of Italian hospitality: gorgeous, freshly baked cake (by Marco’s mum) for breakfast, flexibility around breakfast and check out time, detailed pointers on activities or eateries nearby.... The B&B is indeed at the edge of the Chianti region, and breathtaking views and ancient towns are only a short drive away. Grazie Marco, ritorneremmo volentieri!
