Agriturismo LeGi

We spend five days here and all the upfront communication with the owner family went pretty smooth by email. Upon arrival we were welcomed pretty friendly and shown the house. We had the "Sogna" that suits 4 persons. The equipment of the appartment is very good from all the obvious basics (clean, comfortable beds, ...) to the more interesting details where other lack (enough dishes, knifes, and forks, for example, as well as towels, soap, a very new and fully equiped kitchen, ...) down to the small details and luxury (sharp knifes suitable of cutting tomatoes, working air condition and fast WiFi). We were impressed by the tasteful furnishing that pretty much matched the style of the whole farm pretty well. The kitchen, as already said, was very new with everything you could ask for (oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, ...). There were even towels especially for the pool area as well as bathrobes. The estate also has some paddocks with horses. Its somewhat remote itself so after having been to the Adria coast we enjoyed the silence at the estate and the whickering of the horses :) We drove to Florence (about 1h), to Pisa (about 2h), Siena (about half an hour), and some whine castles so the location of this estate is also pretty good to see a lot of the Tuscany. Finally, apart from the warm welcome by the owner family we also found a nice offering of choc bars, tee, instant coffee, and sugar packs as a welcome package in the kitchen as well as sweets in the sleeping rooms. Appreciated :) As a welcome present we also got a bottle of water and a red wine. Having seen a couple of holiday appartments now in my life I have to say Le.Gi. was one of the best overall packages I've seen so far in a comparable price range. Way too often you end up sitting on some old sofa from long-gone grandma eating from ill-matched dishes with no two coffee cups being from the same set. Not so in Le.Gi. A lot of details are taken care of. As I mentioned: You even have sharp knifes to do real kitchen work. That I never found in any holiday appartment so far :) If you are looking for a somewhat remote place as a base to explore the area from, then Le.Gi. is a good choice.
