72 reviewsWe arrived to a warm welcome from the host/owner of the site. Due the Covid situation, the site was quiet and we were advised to pick a pitch, ensuring there was no one in a neighboring pitch. We chose a pitch close to the lake side and were rewarded with possibly the best pitch views that we have ever experienced. The shared facilities were simple and well maintained and the onsite restaurant served good food at a reasonable price. Considering that this lake is only 30 miles north of Rome, it is very quiet and you feel that you are well away from busy areas. We swam and paddled (kayak and paddleboard) on the lake everyday. The other guests were mostly Italian with a few Dutch families - we may have been the only English people there. Everyone was friendly and the site had a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The pool was closed but as we were so close to the lake, it didn't matter to us. The lake is really clean and some days, it was mirror flat. Access to the lake from the site was easy from the beach on the site and this was never busy with people. The surrounding area was pleasant to explore with Anguillara Sabazia having some great lakeside open air restaurants and a fabulous old town.. We will definitely return.
