41 reviewsLocated in the old part of Bitonto. Beautiful historic building which opens onto a fabulous courtyard and iron staircase directly off the old cobbled street. Our room was up the staircase off a large room/hallway. The bedroom was large and airy with an adequate shower room and a separate sitting area which had a full size fridge. Bed linen was pretty and towels changed daily. Breakfast was served in the communal room/ hallway. Croissants, bread, fruit, cheese, jams, coffee and tea which for us was ideal. A 10 minute walk to the railway station meant we didn't need a car for the 3 nights we stayed there. Trains are regular and cheap. We went to Trani one day, Polignano and Monopoli on another day via Bari. Bitonto itself is a beautiful, interesting old typical italian town. The cathedral in the centre is amazing and worth a visit. Lots of really good restaurants where local italian families eat all reasonably priced. So pleased we chose to stay in Bitonto rather than Bari. Michele, the owner was helpful and pleasant and arranged a car to meet us from the airport for 25 euros.
