13 reviewsWe stayed for two nights to attend a family wedding. This small hotel was such a pleasant surprise. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom had a good shower and plenty of space. The little balcony had wonderful views over the nearby country side. You will need to park your car down the road and walk up, but you can drop off your luggage at the front. Our cars GPS was not so great at finding the town, so I suggest you print a map before you go there. The food here is cheap and delicious, make sure you eat here as we had lunch and dinner. The pizza and produce are outstanding. Gabrielle and Pietro our hosts were so passionate and friendly, it made our stay so much more memorable as it had been 10 years since we had been to Rapone, and we only passed through without staying. This place has given us a reason to come back!! If you want to see what Italy is really about, then get out of the touristy areas, and get in to the country side like this! Rapone is between the Amalfi coast and Puglia and you can stop here then head on to Matera as well plan to do in the next year or so!

A very nice place to stay for a reasonable price - hotel «Locanda del Borgo» is located in Rapone. This hotel is located in the city center. In the morning, have a cup of coffee while looking at the city from the window. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — Cilento e Vallo di Diano National Park, Arechi Stadium and Parco del Mercatello.
