We stayed 3 people in the Ca Castellani and had the best time ever! The place is very peaceful and quiet, yet close to everywhere (by short car drive). It is surrounded by vineyards, in the hills above Bardolino. The rooms are nice and comfortable. You feel that you are REALLY in Italy - not in another hotel that can be located anywhere in the world. Breakfast is good and varied. After a day out, the swimming pool, located just in front of the rooms, is as refreshing and peaceful as in your dreams. You hear only the birds. You smell only the freshness of the vineyards. Lorella, the new owner's mother, who is always present, speaks excellent English and is so nice! She is dedicated to be helpful and available to the guests. Taste the local wines available. They are not expensive and extremely tasty. This place is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I stayed there for 9 nights, and would definitely go there again.
