Serene Villas

We arrived very late at night and had arranged a driver from the villas to collect us from the airport. Communication was brilliant and he greeted us with a cold water which was much appreciated. On arrival our jaws dropped when we saw the villa lit up in all its glory. It was one of those wow moments. The member of staff who greeted us was very thorough and explained everything to us and ensured we’d ordered our breakfast for the morning before going to sleep. Mini was our chef/cleaner and she was amazing. Her banana pancakes & French toast are to die for. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Yani was also lovely who stepped in for mini on her day off. The villa was very spacious and the pool was much bigger than expected with comfy loungers and pool towels are provided. We stayed in a two bedroom frangipani villa (the one to the right of reception) and it had a huge open living area and kitchen and each room had its own bathroom. We ordered lunch most days and some cocktails during happy hour and everything was lovely. There are plenty of restaurants close by. We enjoyed hibiscus and Lacalita Mexican - both on the road at the top. Access to Netflix was great for chilling on an evening. The only negatives we had were that it’s about a 20 min walk to beach, mosquitoes but it’s Bali what did we expect and the villas put coins out and spray every night, they even leave you bug spray and repellent if needed. And the showers would not stay at a nice temp - it went from boiling hot to cold constantly. Would we go back? Definitely!!! Thank you to all the staff that made our stay so special xxx
