The hotel is planned to undergo refurbishments between July 15th and September 30th 2025. The areas include: Lobby, Arrival Area both indoor and outdoor, Mistral All-Day Dining, Revo Café, gym, spa and beauty salon. During this period both Mistral and Revo Café will remain operational and will be temporarily relocated to Al Bahou area. The gym will be temporarily relocated to the ninth floor. The spa and beauty salon will be temporarily closed during this period.

The hotel notifies the guests that when staying in a two-bedroom room guests are asked to pay double the city tax.

For Christmas and New Year's Eve dinners, guests may be charged separately at the hotel.

Access to the Riva Beach Club beach is closed. All guests at Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel now have free access to the Kite public beach. Kite Beach is an open beach area with restaurants and coffee shops. The sunbeds and umbrellas need to be rented. The hotel provides a free shuttle service to the public Kite Beach according to a set schedule, twice from the hotel to the beach and twice back from the beach to the hotel. Shuttle buses run on a first-come, first-served basis.

The beach towels can be provided at the hotel, a refundable deposit of AED 100.00 per towel is required and once returned.

The Executive Lounge is no longer available at the hotel. Instead, since February 2024, the hotel has introduced VIP access privileges:

Privileges are included in the price of accommodation in the Executive room, Family Suite and Battuta Suite.

A free breakfast is served every morning at the Mistral Restaurant.

Every afternoon from 04:00 PM to 05:00 PM, Revo Café serves a free afternoon snack with snacks, as well as tea and coffee.

Unlimited soft drinks are served in the hotel's designated bar from 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM.
