FOUND Hotel, Santa Monica

I stayed here for a few days with my newborn and teenager after a long drive, and it exceeded every expectation. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early without hassle, which was such a relief as a postpartum mom. This was our first trip with baby so anxiety was high!The room was spotless with fresh linens and zero sketchy stains (which I’ve sadly seen at more expensive, popular chain hotels). The shower water pressure was amazing! They have a full kitchen and a laundry room which made traveling with a baby so much easier. The hotel is also in a great location, walking distance to everything from Whole Foods and Target to late night eats like pizza and wings and there’s our favorite latte addiction on the corner if you’re Starbies girl like me. On the flip side there was a faint humid smell in the rooms which is likely due to the climate, but it was easy to overlook. Overall, the environment felt safe, peaceful, and well-maintained. Bonus points for the underground parking with two spots per pass ANDDD street parking if you opt out!Highly, highly, highly, recommend for families, staycations, or anyone needing a comfortable, clean, and well-located place to stay. There’s also an onsite bar that we were able to enjoy for their soft opening. They are opening the restaurant some time in the future and whenever we are in the area we will certainly be returning to this location! Thank you all who welcomed our large party too!
